Ray Charles Arrington, 49, of Sandusky, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013.
He was born Nov. 9, 1963, in Sandusky, and attended Sandusky High School. He was employed by Cedar Point, and a host of local restaurants.
Ray enjoyed sports, especially football, as well as fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Tanika Porter; brothers, Thomas (Mary) Arrington, Jimmy McGee, Darrell (Shelly) DeQuichi, and Quincy Lamont Burchett; special daughters, Aldreeta “Sweet P” Kennedy and Carissa Gill; close friends, Rex, Tremaine, Lump, Derek, Marvin and Kevin; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Ethel Arrington; sister, Willie Mae Collins; and a niece in infancy, Lianna DeQuichi.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. Friday, July 26, until funeral services at 1 p.m. at Emmanuel Temple, 128 E. Adams St., Sandusky. Bishop Rufus Sanders will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is assisting the family with arrangements.
