David Michael Audiano, 72, Oak Harbor, passed away Monday July 22, 2013, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
He was born in Bristol, Conn., March 3, 1941, to Michael and Lydia (Manti) Audiano.
David was a test engineer for General Motors, New Departure Hyatt Department, for 38 years until his retirement in 2000. He belonged to the Port Clinton Elks Lodge, Huron Eagles, Fremont Moose Lodge, and was the 1987 Commodore of the Port Clinton Yacht Club. In his spare time David enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Red Sox and the Giants play.
He is survived by his wife, Jeri Audiano; sons, Michael (Jean) Audiano, Richard (Tina) Audiano, and James Audiano; step children, Timothy (Andrea) Klees, Philp Klees, Kristofer Klees and Kati (David) Hughes; mother, Lydia Audiano; and eight grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his father, Michael Audiano; and brother, Alan Audiano.
Family and friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 25, at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road, Oregon. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 26, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elliston Cemetery.
