Juliann Nicole Pietch, 28, of Norwalk and formerly of Elyria died July 14, 2013.
She was born Dec. 26, 1984, in Elyria and attended Elyria High School and Avon Lake High School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
Julie was a spiritual and compassionate individual who always cared for others. She was an avid reader with an artistic flair and enjoyed music and her pets.
Juliann is survived by her parents, Larry R. and Judy K. (Van Hook) Pietch and brother, Michael L. (Amanda) Pietch, all of Norwalk; grandparents, Girstene and Henry Bateman, of Sidney, Ohio; uncles, Richard S. Pietch and John F. (Carol) Pietch and aunts, Patricia A. (Charles) Johnson and Carol J. (James) Kennedy.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Earl and Maxine Pietch and Arley Van Hook.
Friends will be received 5-8 p.m. Friday July 19, at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria, where a service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20. The Rev. Bret S. Myers, pastor of St. Paul United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
