James H. Krueger Sr., 68, of Marblehead, died Thursday, July 4, 2013, in Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton.
He was born May 14, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, to Charles H. and Mildred (Bremer) Krueger. He married Kathryn Geis on Aug. 9, 1969, and she survives.
Mr. Krueger was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He had a distinguished career in the appliance and automotive
aftermarket industries. Most recently CEO of Pay Technologies in Cleveland.
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn; son, James H. (Kristin) Krueger Jr., of The Woodlands, Texas; daughters, Tricia Krueger- Ternovan of, Annapolis, Md., and Molly (Justin) Krueger-Molenaur, of Upper Arlington, Ohio; grandchildren, “Papa’s Girls” Katy Ternovan, Betsy Krueger and Penny Molenaur; brother, Charles “Mike” (Joyce) Krueger, of Dayton, Ohio; sister,
Catherine Walker of Huntsville, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Jerry Foster, of Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia Foster; and brother-in-law, Bert Walker.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 East Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, followed by a reception at the Johnson’s Island Clubhouse.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Ottawa County.
