Thomas E. Patchett Jr., 66, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013, in Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.
He was born Sept. 14, 1946, in Port Clinton, to Thomas E. and Elizabeth (Vrotsos) Patchett Sr. Tom graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1968, and was self employed with an ad specialty company.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Port Clinton. He was a very simple man who enjoyed spending time with his family, and also with his feline companion, Kitty.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth; sister, Cathy (Jerry) Davenport, of Catawba Island; brother, Robert Patchett, of Destin, Fla; nieces, Danielle (Peyton) Krupp, Jerianne Davenport and Vanessa and Sarah Patchett; great-nieces, Elayna and Paige Krupp; and great-nephew, Fulton Krupp.
He was preceded in death by his father.
There will be no visitation or services as cremation has taken place. Private burial will take place at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery in Port Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the donor’s charity of choice.
