Keith “Keico” Lamar Coe, 57, of Fremont and formerly of Vickery, left this world surrounded by his family and close friends Friday, July 5, 2013, in University of Toledo Medical Center.
He was born on Feb. 10, 1956, in Fremont, the son of Richard Norris and Clara Kathleen (Burr) Coe. He attended Margaretta High School.
Keith married Mary Lou Zamora on July 23, 2011, in Fremont, and she survives. He was a Truck Driver for 40 years and most currently worked for Bowling Transportation. Keith was a past member of the Clyde and Fremont Moose and Eagles. He loved sports and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians. Keith enjoyed fishing, racing and spending time with his family and friends.
Keith is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Coe of Fremont; step sons, Jamie and Ronnie Hodges, both of Fremont; father, Richard Norris Coe of Vickery; siblings, Richard (Judy) Coe, Randa (Dave) Miller both of Clyde, Christine Kingsborough of Castalia, Connie (Dave Osborne) Martin of Green Springs, Tonya (Kim) Leiter of Clyde; step granddaughter, Leyla Hodges; beloved little buddy, Chief; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends - as he always liked to say, “who loved him near and far, who came to see him, some by plane and some by car.”
He was preceded in death by his mother; and brothers-in-law, Ron Martin and Joe Kingsborough.
A Celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, with a Tribute/Memorial beginning at 4 p.m., at the home of his sister, Connie Martin, 7730 North Twp Road 169, Green Springs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Leyla Hodges College Fund at the Fremont Credit Union.
