Jeffrey “Jeff” Tyson, 59, of Sandusky, passed away Sunday morning, June 23, 2013, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 18, 1953, in Philadelphia. Jeff was employed as a truck driver for Ohio Eastern Express for 20 years.
He loved playing pool, video games, the Philadelphia Eagles, and NASCAR; but his first love was his truck.
He is survived by his wife, Alice (King) Tyson, of Sandusky; mother, Bertha Tyson, of Philadelphia; daughters, Alis Tyson, Denise Porter, and Denielle Tyson, all of Harrisburg, Pa.; step-daughters, Trina Bowman and Tarisa Allen, of Harrisburg, and Kiesha Chase, of Steelton, Pa.; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Mayfield, of Berlington, N.J.; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Tyson.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29, in the Firelands Realtors Building, 2710 Campbell St., Sandusky. Pastor Jamie Richardson will officiate.
