Edmond A. Mosser, 80, of Clyde, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in The Willows of Bellevue.
Ed was born April 25, 1933, in Sandusky County to the now deceased Joseph B. and Leona (Darr) Mosser. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Clyde Eagles, and Fremont Elks.
Prior to retirement, he worked 30 years for the State of Ohio as a surveyor.
Mr. Mosser served in the U.S. Army from 1955-57.
On Oct. 29, 1971, he married Fran E. (Bowers) Dick, who survives, along with step-daughters, Sandra Gray and Suzanne (Harry) Newsome, all of Clyde. Six stepgrandchildren, 15 stepgreat-grandchildren and two sisters, Rosalyn (Jerome) Freeh and Madelene (Robert) Hershey, all of Fremont, also survive, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ed was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Mosser and Wilford Mosser, and one sister, Bernadine Cook.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 1, at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clyde. The Rev. Gerhardt Gosnell and the Rev. Ed Schleter will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery with military honors.
