Freida Keller-Redford, 61, of Berlin Heights, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born Dec. 5, 1951, in Waynesboro, N.C., and lived in the Berlin Heights area her entire life. She was a 1969 graduate of Edison High School and CBSI, with a technical degree in computer science. She worked for Periodical Publishing in Sandusky for 17 years and most recently had been a teller for National City Bank (now PNC Bank) for 10 years.
She was an avid reader, animal lover, enjoyed walking on the beach and gardening. Freida was a devoted wife and nurturer to everyone with whom she came in contact.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Dennis; her mother, Helen (Koch) Keller of Sandusky; her siblings, Marilyn Shinski of Greenwich, Shirley Collins of Illinois, Inez (Denny) Buchs of Huron, Judy (Dan) Gerold of Huron, Clarence Russell of California, Larry Keller of Grove City, Ohio, Bobby (Liz) Keller of Massillion, Ohio, and Doug (LuAnne) Keller and Richard (Patty) Keller, all of Sandusky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth C. Keller, and siblings, Marvin “Pat” Keller, Charles “Butch” Russell and Art Russell.
Friends may call 5 p.m. Tuesday June 25, until services at 7 p.m. at Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights. Chaplin Melvin Sayler will officiate. Private burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
