Wilmina G. Reel, 82, of Sandusky, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Gallipolis, Ohio, Aug. 29, 1930.
Wilmina was a homemaker, and she enjoyed crossword puzzles, old-time movies, love story novels, and going to yard sales. She always addressed everyone as “Hon”, and loved her knick knack collections, especially her angel collection.
She is survived by her children, Shirley (John) Ramback, Richard (Kathy Adams) Reel, David (Nanette) Reel, Linda (Kevin Schaffer) Parker, Cheryl (Randy) Stewart, and Mickey Reel, all of Sandusky, William (Brenda) Reel, Collins, Ohio, and Diana McGory, Castalia; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice, Evelyn, and Luella, all of Gallipolis; brothers, Hayward of Norwalk, Floyd of Clyde, and Warner, Charles, and Alan, all of Gallipolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Reel, in 2007; parents, Floyd and Anna (Halley) Cox; grandsons, Michael Stewart and Jacob Hurst; and a brother, Merrill.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 20, at the funeral home, with her grandson, Elder William Reel Jr. officiating. She was be reunited with her husband Richard on their 64th wedding anniversary in Castalia Cemetery.
