Sally E. Felton, 80, of Sandusky, passed away early Sunday morning, June 9, 2013, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on October 19, 1932 in Fostoria, Ohio. She was employed by Charles Nickels Farm in Huron for many years.
Sally was a member of the Eagle’s Nest Church (formerly The Peoples’ Church), where she was an active member for many years, and played piano. She loved sewing and cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Sally is survived by her husband of 39 years, William Felton; children, Cynthia (Moe) Garlock of Clyde, Karen (Art) Gingery of Norwalk, Tina Schiffel and Joe (Kim) Felton both of Huron, and Jeanette Richardson of Chandler, Ariz.; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Harriett “Skippy” Anthony of Berlin Heights, and Jeannine Willgrube of Huron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Edna (Jenkins) Purvis; sister, Susie Smith; and son-in-law, Van Richardson.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Eagle’s Nest Church, 2126 Pipe St., Sandusky. Friends may also call 10-11 a.m. Thursday, June 13, at the church. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., Rev. Darrell Gant will officiate. Entombment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
Memorial contributions may be made in Sally’s name to the Eagle’s Nest Church.
