TimothyHamilton-Ruffin, 50, of Sandusky, passed away early Thursday morning, May 23, 2013, in Firelands RegionalMedical Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born Nov. 29, 1962, in Sandusky, son of Elizabeth (Twymon) Ruffin and the late Frison Ruffin.
Timothy was a graduate of Sandusky High School and was co-owner of Ruffin Refuse for several years.
He was a dedicated member of Agape Love Ministries, where he earned the role of chief adjutant to Bishop Jones, and was very active in the church choir. Timothy loved music. He was music director for Second Baptist Church, and he sang with, and for, everyone.
He was very sociable and known for giving unique gifts and touching the lives of everyone he met. He greatly enjoyed clothing and fashion. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and his little dogs. His greatest love in life was the Lord.
Including his mother, he is survived by his three brothers, Daniel (Vanessa) Hamilton, Adrian Bernard Hamilton and Dudley (Jocelyn) Harris; three sisters, Minister Barbara (Bobby) Embry, Annie (Curtis) Thorn and Cathy Woods; special nephew, Adrian II, and several nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members. He is also survived by his father figure, Mr.Charles Holiday, whom he looked up to like a dad.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at Agape Love Ministries, 4013 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31. Bishop Clifton T. Jones Sr. will officiate. Entombment will follow at Meadow GreenMemorial Park, Huron.
