Darlene A. (Spring) Bledsoe, 65, of Sandusky, passed away early Monday morning, May 27, 2013, in Stein Hospice Care Center, following a lengthy illness.
She was born June 29, 1947, in Sandusky, to Isaac and Viola (Stamn) Spring.
Darlene was employed for several years by the Foster Grant company. In her spare time she enjoyed camping, traveling, coffee talk, and spending time with her family. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren.
Cherished with her memories are her loving husband of 48 years, Carlos E. Bledsoe; three daughters, Sandra (Stacey Stoll) Bledsoe, Michelle Williams, and Carlene (Jeffrey) Aldrich; six grandchildren, Tyler, Megan, and Michael Sabatino, Donald (Mekenna), Bryan, and Bradley Williams; two great-grandchildren, Braydon Williams, and Isiaha Johnson; sister, Lois (Bill) Huff; five brothers, Delbert (Becky), Luther “Bud”, Bruce (Carol), and Ronald (Ellen) Spring, all of Sandusky, and Duane (Nancy) Spring of Largo, Fla.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Spring; her twin sister and brother-in-law, Marlene (Robert) Windau; and her brother and sister-in-law, Larry (Mary) Spring.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 30, at the funeral home. At the family’s request cremation will take place following the services.
