Clyde Busam, 64, of Sandusky, passed away late Sunday evening, May 26, 2013, in Firelands Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born March 23, 1949, in Sandusky, to the Roland and Lucille (Dunn) Busam.
Clyde was a 1967 graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic School, and attended the University of Detroit for four years. He was employed for forty years by Cedar Point as an arcade mechanic supervisor and manager. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed walking his dog, working with electronics, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two siblings, Sr. Catherine Labouré Busam O.S.F. /Sylvania, and John “Jack” (Vicky) Busam; three nephews, Michael, Thomas, and David Busam, and families.
Friends may call 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Prayer Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 31, at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave, Sandusky. Father Joseph Steinbauer will officiate.
