Sara A. Bango, 32, of Sandusky, died Friday, May 24, 2013, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 7, 1980, in Shelby, N.C., and graduated from Lincolnton High School, in Lincolnton, N.C.
Sara loved doing crafts, scrapbooking and trivia.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Bango; mother, Laura (Shrum) McSwain, father, Wally McSwain, both of Lincolnton; her special companion, Kayla; maternal grandmother, Betty B. Shrum, of Lincolnton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald and Joan Bango, of Sandusky; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, the Rev. Gaither E. Shrum; and paternal grandparents, Donald and Betty Frye.
Friends may call 2-7 p.m. Sunday, May 26, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The body will be transported to North Carolina for graveside services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, in Forrest Lawn Cemetery, Lincolnton.
