Cora “Pauline” Coffee, 52, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning, May 11, 2013, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 16, 1961, in Portsmouth, Ohio. Pauline graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and the O.S.S. Home.
Pauline is survived by her children, Amy (Jessica) Herrin and Robert Herrin Jr.; mother, Margaret (Lewis) Coffee of Lucasville, Ohio; siblings, Rita (David) Bell of Franklin, Ohio, Mickie Jo (Brett) Marsh of Brownsville, Ohio, Jeanne “Lanie” Coffee of Portsmouth, Charles Coffee Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, Richard Coffee of Portsmouth, Barbara (Randy) Eldridge of Sciotoville, Ohio, Anthony “Ford” Coffee of Lucasville, Robert Coffee of Hebron, Ohio, and Rosa Etta “Rosie” (Fred) Hobson of Greenup, Ky.; special friends, like sisters, of over 30 years, Mary Lawson, Regina “Gee Gee” Gussi, and “Kathy” Lawson; and companion of nine years, Thomas Scherf.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Coffee Sr.; brother, James Coffee; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
At Pauline’s request, there will be no viewing and cremation will take place. A memorial service will be announced later.
