Helen M. Dauch, 86, of Clyde, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in the Bellevue Hospital.
Helen was born in Cleveland on Sept. 1, 1926. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1944. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue.
Helen was a 4-H advisor for many years and a member of the Lions Auxiliary. She dearly loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, husband, children and God. Her flowers and yard were a source of pride to her, she spent many hours working outside. She also enjoyed baking, cooking and being a caregiver to all.
Helen was proud to be a farmer's wife, but worked for 14 years at the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course.
On January 9, 1947, she married Wayne Dauch and he survives along with daughters, Patricia Sengstock of Clyde, Kathleen (Dan) Michel of Bucyrus, Paula Dauch of Clyde; son, David Dauch of Clyde; 13 grandchildren, David Smith, Tony (Sonya) Smith, Bradley Parker, Jamie Parker, Brian Michel, Jason Michel, Brad Downing, Brian Downing, Jeromy Dauch, Nicole Dauch, Jason Dauch, Tom Sengstock and Julie (Mike Trautman) Keckler; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Roger; mother, Anna Lewicki; and siblings, Ann Radomski, Jennie Van Fleet, John Lewicki, Casmer Lewicki, Steve Lewicki, and Frank Lewicki.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. A funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 19, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Jonathan Wight officiating. Burial will be in Parkhurst Cemetery.
