Samuel J. Rosiar, 80, of Port Clinton died Monday, March 1, 2010, in Toledo Hospital.
He was born Jan. 10, 1930, in Port Clinton, a son of Samuel and Margaret (Kozlok) Rosiar. Sam retired from General Motors after 32 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion and UAW Local 913, both in Sandusky.
Surviving are his wife, Janet (Feyedelem), whom he married Aug. 28, 1954; sons, Michael and Craig (Valerie) Rosiar of Port Clinton and Dean (Cheryl) Rosiar of Marblehead; grandchildren, Stephanie, Dean and Jillian; great-grandchildren, Connor and Payton; sister, Mary Stapleton of Port Clinton; and a brother, Steve Rosiar of Sandusky.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Rosiar.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. Wednesday until services at 6 p.m. at Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St., Port Clinton. The Rev. Dan Keck will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
