Patricia J. "Pat" (Bland) Morrow, 75, of Sandusky passed away Tuesday evening, March 2, 2010, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness with Poems Syndrome.
Born in Harrisburg, Pa., June 25, 1934, she was a 1952 graduate of Sandusky High School. Pat worked as an operator for Ohio Bell and later for Citizens Bank Company where she retired after 30 years of service. Pat loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid book reader and enjoyed gardening, knitting and sewing. She was a life-long member of First Baptist Church of Sandusky.
Pat is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harry S. Morrow; four sons, Robert (Deborah) Morrow and Ronald (Susan) Morrow, both of Sandusky, Thomas (Kathy) Morrow of Poland, Ohio, and Timothy (Joanna) Morrow of Huron; nine grandchildren, Brandon, Brent, Bradley and Coleman Morrow, Katy Ferrell-Hachey, Jordan and Taylor Ferrell, and Marshall and Eric Tannehill; two great-grandchildren, Rylie and Ethan Morrow; sister, Sara (James) Burrows of Sandusky; brother, Raymond (Ann) Bland of Lafayette, Calif.; and other cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Margaret (Mood) Bland; and her brother, David Bland.
At her request cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday in David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Interment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
Her family has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
