LaMarr A. Senne died in his home in Lordstown, Ohio, at the age of 94, on Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
He was born Sept. 26, 1918, in Sandusky, to Alfred J. and Henrietta Walker Senne. LaMarr graduated from Sandusky High School class of 1938.
He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper, landing on D-Day. He was awarded the Purple Heart. After the war he worked as a carpenter in Warren, Ohio, where he was an active member of the Lions Club and Christ Episcopal Church.
LaMarr is survived by his wife, Margaret; three sons, Donald, Douglas, and Richard; brother, Donald of Sandusky; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Audrey.
Funeral services were held April 5, at Christ Church, Warren. Inurnment and military services followed.
