Susietta Williams, 88, of Sandusky, departed this life on Monday morning, April 1, 2013, in Providence Care Center.
She was born Dec. 9, 1924, in Waynesboro, Miss., daughter of the late Dave and Marietta (Evans) Aaron. Susietta was employed by Zimmerman Nursing Home and Ohio Veterans Home as a nurse’s assistant.
She was a member of Providence Baptist Church, where she served on the Mother’s Ministry under Pastor Samuel Mickles and her nephew, Pastor Scottie Aaron. Susie had a passion for cooking and baking. She loved watching people eat and enjoy her dishes.
Susietta was loved by many. She is survived by her sister, Alice Ashburn; brothers, Claude Aaron Sr., Danny (Burnell) Aaron, Edward (Willie) Aaron, Ronnie Aaron, George Evans and Levon Nicholson; lifetime friends, Creasie Spearman, Augusta Marie Moore, Brenda and Randy Moore, and Virginia Butler; and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Williams; and her parents.
Friends may call from noon n Friday, April 5, until funeral services at 1 p.m. at ProvidenceMissionary Baptist Church, 224 Dixie Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Scottie Aaron will officiate.
