Caleb Parsons, 7, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, March 24, 2013, in Fremont.
Caleb was born Aug. 9, 2005, in Sandusky, to Melissa (Likes) Parsons and Cornelius Ruffin. He was a second grader at Shawnee School in Huron, who enjoyed music, dancing, and wrestling. He was just a fun guy that enjoyed being around people and was able to put a smile on everyone’s face.
Caleb is survived by his mother, Melissa Parsons (Brandon) and father, Cornelius Ruffin (Jonna); three sisters, Lyndazia Ruffin, Caylin McCormick and Nevaeh Ruffin; two brothers, Noah Bor and Caine Ruffin; his grandparents, Lynda (Joseph) Easley and William Ruffin; great-grandparents, Kay Gosa, Blaine (Helga) Duncil, John Grant Sr. and Peggy Hinton-Grant; six aunts, Amanda Likes, Sarah Likes, Shanterius Hinton, Tiffany (Aaren) Snyder, Destiny Ruffin and Laci Ruffin; four uncles, Delon Hinton, William Ruffin Jr., Brian Sanders and Jasper Clintscale; and a host of cousins and other relatives.
Caleb was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathy Jean Likes; great grandfathers, George Gosa, Alfred Hinton and John Grant; and his great-grandmother, Ruthie Ruffin.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. Friday, March 29, until funeral services at noon in Faith Memorial Church, 1320 E. Strub Road, Sandusky. The Rev. Ken Hiser will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Home and Crematory , Sandusky, will be assisting the family.
