Jack L. Woodruff

Jack L. Woodruff, 88, Sandusky, died Friday, March 22, 2013, in his residence.
He was born in Oct. 20, 1924, in Sandusky, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed by Chrysler Plastics for 24 years, retiring in 1989.
Jack was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, American Legion Post 83, and AMVETS Post 17. He enjoyed golf, pool, volleyball, and was an avid basketball and baseball fan.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jody (Reckinger) Woodruff; daughters, Chris Woodruff and Lauri (Dale) Kriss, both of Sandusky; son, Joel Woodruff, Dallas, Ga.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Carolyn (Brodersen) Woodruff; and twin brother and sister, Paul and Patricia Woodruff.
There will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will beheld in Calvary Cemetery, with a memorial mass to be announced at a later date.
