Christy Sue Missler, 56, of Bellevue, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, in the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born on May 6, 1956, in Marion, Ohio, to Louise (French) Thompson and James Marion Thompson.
Christy worked at NASA Plum Brook Station as an administrative assistant, and also worked at the Ohio Veterans Home as a secretary. She was a graduate of Margaretta High School, and Lorain Business College. Christy was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue.
Christy also had her own business, Christy’s Creations, which specialized in wedding flowers. She enjoyed many creative activities including making dolls. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She loved animals and enjoyed her pets.
Christy is survived by her mother, Louise Thompson; husband, James Missler; daughter, Brandy (Jason) Bennett; two grandchildren, Britain and Ireland Bennett; brothers, James (Christie) Thompson, and Robert (Portia) Thompson; special aunt, Sheila French; aunt, Shirley French.
Friends will be received 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue, Rev. Jonathan Wight officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
