Chester Albert “Chet” Meyer, 84, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013.
Chet was born Aug. 12, 1928, in Sandusky, son of the late Albert and Mary (Killian) Meyer. He graduated from Case Institute of Technology with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering in 1962. Chet worked for 10 years at NCR and later retired from Stanhope Products.
He had a love for old cars, sports, fishing, boating on Lake Erie at his boat house, and most of all his dogs.
Chet was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jane C. Meyer, and his cousin, Charles Williams.
His family will great friends from 1 p.m. Sunday, March 17, until a Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m. at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering.
