Leeon was born July 11, 1937, in Hollybush, Ky., son of the late Willard and Ocie (Slone) Caudill.

Upon moving to Willard, he took employment as a truck driver for Weirs Brothers, Celeryville, Ohio, and soon after worked for Pioneer Rubber Company in Willard. In 1965 he garnered employment with Ford Motor Company, in Sandusky. In addition to his membership in the UAW, Leeon was a member of the UAW V-CAP, the Sandusky Fraternal Order of Eagles, VFW, and American Legion.

Family was important to Leeon and he looked forward to his time with them. In retirement, Leeon enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting, collecting firearms, traveling to car shows, and stopping at every flea market that he saw. Leeon's passion for flea markets led him to sell at the Rinky's Flea Market in Marietta, Ohio, for a number of years. He enjoyed talking with the customers and sharing his many stories.
