Roger K. Redmon

Roger K. Redmon, 66, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, March 10, 2013, at his home.
He was born on Oct. 2, 1946, in Middlesboro, Ky., to William and Nellie (Bryant) Redmon.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, proudly serving his country with the 82nd Airborne. He worked for General Motors, and retired from Visteon, in Sandusky, as the tool room supervisor after 37 years of service.
Roger was a member of The Chapel in Sandusky. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, following and watching the New York Yankees and spending time with his family and friends, especially his Celebrate Recovery friends.
Roger is survived by his wife, Mary Beth (Harrington), whom he married on Jan. 4, 1988; three daughters, Kimberly Redmon of Sandusky, Tiffany (Steve) Wagner of Lewis Center, Ohio, and Brittney (Chuck) Wadsworth of Sandusky; four sons, Ricky Redmon of Marblehead, Jeremey (Kasie) Scally of Hillard, Ohio, Correy Scally of North Royalton, Ohio, and Adam (Annie) Redmon of Sandusky; nine grandchildren, Victoria, Trynyty, Roman, Stella, Ashton, Anabelle, Logan, Bentley and Charley; three sisters, Ann Hensley of Knoxville, Tenn., June (Ed) Marx of Saline, Mich., and Billie (Mickey) Frisbee of Castalia; one sister-in-law, Elsie Redmon; one brother-in-law, Ellis Branum, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother, James "Don" Redmon; and sister, Lynn Branum.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Road, Sandusky, and 10 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at the church. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church, Pastor Dave Brown presiding.
The Groff Funeral Home and Crematory in Sandusky is handling the arrangements.
