Audra L. (Schutt) Laraway

Audra L. (Schutt) Laraway, 41, of Clyde, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 2, 2013, in The Bellevue Hospital. 

She was born April 23, 1971, in Sandusky, to Carl and Marcia (Drusbacky) Schutt. She was a 1989 graduate of Fremont Ross, earned her Associates of Accounting degree from Terra Community College in 1996, completing her bachelors and masters degrees of business administration at the University of Tiffin in 2001. Audra worked in the accounting department as a laborer analyst for The Whirlpool Corporation.

In her free time she loved listening to country music and playing games on Facebook. She was particularly interested in historical information about the Titanic and enjoyed watching the movie. Audra was a true patriot, who loved her country. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, the holidays, especially Christmas, and the company of her dogs, Goofball, Shadow and Domino. 

She was anxiously awaiting the birth of her first biological grandchild. Audra’s legacy and spirit for life will continue through her gift of organ donation.

Surviving is her husband, Rodney Laraway, of Clyde; children, Melissa Parlow, of Sandusky, Jamie ( Jason ) Vaughn, of Tiffin, Ohio, and James Parlow III, of Clyde; parents, Carl Schutt, of Fremont, and Marcia (Drusbacky) Schutt, of Sandusky; brother, Brian (Becke) Schutt and sister, Kimberly Lucas, both of Fremont; stepgranddaughter, Anha Laraway and step-grandson, Andrew King; mother-in-law, Katherine Laraway; brother-in-law, Richard Laraway, of Fairfield, Ohio; and stepsons, Dustin and Shawn Laraway, of Aberdeen, Md.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mauvelyn and Howard Schutt; maternal grandparents, Margaret and Joseph Drusbacky; niece, Kylie Lucas; cousin, Pam Warren; uncle, William Warren; and father-in-law, Charles Laraway. 

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, where funeral services will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for her expected grandchild.
