Ronald T. Kochendoerfer Jr., 46, of Columbus, Ohio, and formerly of Sandusky, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, after a three year battle with cancer, in Victorian Village in Columbus.
He graduated from St. Mary Central Catholic High School, received his bachelor's degree at DePaul University in Chicago and his master's degree in Emporia, Kansas. He was working on his Ph.D. at Ohio State University.
Ronald is survived by his mother, Margaret Wiley; brother, Tim Kochendoerfer of Franklin Furnace, Ohio; and aunts, uncles, niece's and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald T. Sr.; step father, Kenneth Wiley; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Anderson, and Fred and Loyola Kochendoerfer.
By Ronald's request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be at a later date.
Shawn-Davis Funeral Home, Columbus, is in charge of arrangements.
