Ruth (Bickley) Sebastiano, 95, of Bellevue, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, in the Bellevue Care Center, surrounded by her loving family. She
had a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
Ruth was born Feb. 13, 1918, in Danbury, Ohio, the daughter of Daniel and Martha (Roble) Bickley.
On July 29, 1937, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., she married Ralph Sebastiano, and he preceded her in death on June 17, 2000. Ruth and Ralph were married for 62 years. She was a homemaker. Ruth loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Gary S. Sebastiano of Toledo, Martha (Richard) Radloff of Bellevue, Darrell (Joanne) Sebastiano of Oak Harbor, Ted Sebastiano of Oak Harbor, Trudy (Chuck) Rider of Catawba Island, and Tony (Julie) Sebastiano of Port Clinton; sister, Patricia Francis of Bellevue; sister-in-law, Audrey Bickley of Bellevue; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by parents, Dan and Martha Bickley; loving husband, Ralph; brothers, Elwyn, Leo, Lawrence, Paul and Edward Bickley.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. John Missler. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
Memorial donations in memory of Ruth may be given to the Bellevue Care Center, Stein Hospice, or Ottawa County Humane Society.
