Harold L. Moore, 75, of Sandusky, passed away on Friday morning, Feb. 15, 2013, in his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 14, 1937, in Dwale, Va., son of the late Holiday and Callie Moore.
Harold was an air hammer operator for Sandusky Folding Box, retiring in 1995. Before his illness, he enjoyed working on his cars, fishing, and playing pool and dartball.
Harold is survived by his former wife, Anita (Grimes) Moore, of Sandusky; siblings, Dennis (Marlene) Moore, of Clyde, Pauline (“Bud”) Wollenslegel, of Bellevue, and Nina (Lewis) Vranash, of Clyde; siblings-in-law, Deborah Adams, of Sandusky, Dixie Rexroth, of Fremont, Michael Grimes, of Alabama, James Grimes, of Norwalk, and Kenneth Grimes, of Mansfield; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Darryl, Gerald and Rose.
At Harold’s request, services were private and cremation will take place at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
