Mary Ann (Brewer) Sibert, 72, of Vermilion, died at her home Friday morning, Feb. 15, 2013, following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 10, 1940, in Georgia, to Yulan and Emma Lee (Greathouse) Brewer.
Mary is survived by her three daughters, Carol Ann Sibert and Darlene Harris, of Vermilion, and Marlene Sibert, of Sandusky; six grandchildren, William DeWayne, Samantha Marion, Kathryn Ann, Sara Lynn, Courtney Ann and Ciara Marie; seven great-grandchildren, Annabell, Alessandra, Aslinn, Alayna, Alexa, Amber and Killian; five sisters, Jo Bryant, Ruth Lawton, Lillie Kurtz, Coreen Opper and Betty Kay Cusano; three brother, Larry Brewer, Wes Brewer and Edward Brewer.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, William Levi “Bud” Sibert on March 15, 2007, whom she married November 10, 1957; and her parents.
Friends may call noon-2 p.m. Monday Feb. 18, at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, followed by her funeral service at 2 p.m, with Pastor Dan Johnson of Victory Baptist Church, 132 Gallup Ave., Norwalk, officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
