Joyce C. (Bretz) Christian-Faulhaber, 79, of Sandusky, passed away early Thursday afternoon, Feb. 14, 2013, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 1, 1934, in Sandusky, daughter of the late Elmer and Marjorie (Olds) Bretz. Joyce was a 1953 graduate of Sandusky High School.
She is survived by four sons, Chip (Pam) Christian, Guy Christian, Steve Christian and David (Carla) Christian; three daughters, Bonnie (Gary) Windisch, Sandy (Ric) Miller and Lisa (Joe) Singler; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Lois (Al) Simpson; brother, Raymond (Delma) Bretz; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. "Jim" Faulhaber on May 16, 1995; her parents; sister, Bonnier Rogers (1968); and nephew, Tom Kowalski (1972).
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at David F. Koch Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Kenneth Hiser will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to one's favorite charity.
