Arthur R. Wallrabenstein, 75, Monroeville, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 19, 1937, in Norwalk, and graduated in 1956 from North Fairfield High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Arthur was employed by Don Tester Ford as a service manager.
He was a member of American Legion Post 706 in North Fairfield, loved the outdoors, playing baseball, dartball and golfing. He was always a kid, riding and racing four wheels at the racetrack on Route 61.
He is survived by his wife, Fran (Garner) Wallrabenstein; sons, Greg (Peg) Wallrabenstein, of Sandusky, Steve (Dawn) Wallrabenstein, of Ashland, and Mike (Diane) Wallrabenstein, of Monroeville; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a sister, Pat (Ron) Danhoff, of New Haven, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Elsie (Weilnau) Wallrabenstein.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, until funeral services at 1 p.m. at Willard Christian Alliance Church, 1609 S. Conwell St., Willard. The Rev. Jim Trainer will officiate. Burial will be in North Fairfield Cemetery, with Norwalk American Legion providing military honors.
