Mary was a homemaker during her winters on the island and provided a loving, happy home for her family. During her life on Put-in-Bay Mary was active in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, the Parent Teachers Association, and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, as well as in many other community activities and volunteer organizations. She was a 1939 graduate of Lakeside High School.
