Margaret Ann Hurlburt, 70, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, Feb. 8, 2013, at her residence.
Margaret Ann Hurlburt was born May 12, 1942, in Sandusky, daughter of the late John and Laurette (Kaiser) Biecheler.
Marge was a member of St. Mary’s Church. In her spare time she enjoyed crossword puzzles, word games, crochet, cross stitch, and ceramics. Marge especially loved spending time with her family.
Marge is survived by her husband, Darrell; three sons, Scott (Evelyn), John, and Patrick (Mary Beth) Hurlburt, all of Sandusky; one stepson, William Hurlburt, of San Francisco; nine grandchildren, Nicholas, Amanda, Kade, Courtney, Austan, Codey, Kali, Jenna and Braeden; one great-grandchild, Layla; four siblings, Joanne Youskievicz, Jeanette (Mike) Lippert, Paul (Lillie)Biecheler and John (Rita) Biecheler; several nieces and nephews.
Including her parents, Marge is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Lou Youskievicz.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at Groff Funeral Homes, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where a prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
