Larry A. Greenhill, 59, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 2, 2013, in Stein Hospice Care Center, after a brief illness.
He was born on May 6, 1953, in Albany, Ky. He was a welder by trade, and was employed by K&K Interiors. Larry was a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed music, working on cars, and spending time with his family.
Larry is survived by his parents, Frank and Emily (Burchett) Alexander; children, Stephan (Crystal) Greenhill, Andre (Nia) Greenhill, Tokeya Greenhill, Arthur Greenhill, Jasmine Greenhill, and Carisa Ramsey; sisters, Thelma (Emanuel) Washington, Donna (Edward) Fleming, and Ann (Tony) Rogers; goddaughter, Rayna Burchett; 13 grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal father, James Henry Greenhill; and grandfather, Morton (Dora) Burchett.
Friends may call 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1920 Eddy Henry Way, Sandusky. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the church, Rev. Curtis L. Johnson Jr. will officiate.
