LaDonna A. Dickman, 88, of Clyde, more recently of The Willows, Bellevue, died at the Willows on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.
LaDonna was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Bettsville, Ohio, to Harry Joseph and Margaret (Brickner) Swartzmiller. She attended St. Andrew's School, Liberty Township, Seneca County.
She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clyde. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading and having pet cats. On Jan. 20, 1944, she married Raymond W. Dickman. He preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1998.
Survivors include six children, Jean (Don) Taylor of Clyde, Tom (Linda) Dickman of Fremont, Rich (Debbie) Dickman of Clyde, Gary (Deb) Dickman of Fremont, Elena (Bill) Kerstetter of Wakeman, Ohio, and Annette Smith (Lee Potter) of Fremont; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and four sisters-in-law, Helen Swartzmiller, Alma Swartzmiller, Evelyn Fox, and Mary Dickman.
LaDonna was preceded in death by her husband; and siblings, Walter, Harold "Jake", Claire J., Richard Swartzmiller, Pauline Baker, and Mildred Lautermilch.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde, with Christian wake services at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clyde. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
