Chad Adam Moretz, 34, residing in Rincon, Ga., and formerly of Ohio, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013.
He was born Sept. 4, 1978, and graduated high school in 1996. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. During Chad's school years, he played saxophone, baseball, football and was on the Perkins High School wrestling team. He was an excellent carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly, of Rincon; two daughters, Alyssa and Mercedes, of Ohio; father, Jeffery Moretz, of Naples, Fla.; grandmother, of Naples; two aunts, Darlene (Gary) Younce, of Sandusky and Lynda Johannsen, of Berlin Heights; two uncles, Jefferson (Ninfa) Stephens, of Whitehouse, Ohio, and Thomas (Jackie) Stephens, of Sandusky; brother in-law, Kevin Lambert, of Rincon; and many cousins.
Chad was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Ann Moretz; his infant brother; maternal grandparents, Jefferson and Eileen (Toft) Stephens; and his paternal grandfather.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31,until a memorial services at noon, at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. The Rev. Samuel Studer will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
