Mary Ramon, 66, of Bellevue, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at her home.
She was born May 26, 1946, in Tiffin, the daughter of Walter and Patricia (Dalton) Gassner Sr.
Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue, and enjoyed going to summer mass at the Sorrowful Mother Shrine. She enjoyed drawing, dancing, listening to live music, and horses. She was an active member of Knechts Beach in Port Clinton. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She always had a smile on her face, never met a stranger, and loved to give her friends a hug.
Mary is survived by her husband, Frank Ramon, whom she married Sept. 30, 1967, in Attica; son, Frank (Jen) Ramon of Toledo; two daughters, Mary (Bradley) Rosser of Hilliard, Ohio, and Juliet (Darrin) Russell of Bellevue; granddaughter, Gabriella Russell; three brothers, Walter “Bud” (Mihn) Gassner Jr. of Bellevue, Frank Gassner of Green Springs, and Don Gassner of Attica; three sisters, Susan (Larry) Mackling of Sycamore, Ohio, Janet (Gene) Crouse of Willard, Shirley (Mike) Hufford of Sycamore; and her mother, Patricia Gassner of Attica.
She was preceded in death by her father; and niece, Patricia Gassner.
Friends will be received at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
