Estella J. Trushel, 92, of Norwalk, died Jan. 9, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 25, 1920, in Florida, Ohio, and was a resident of Norwalk since 1968 coming from Monroeville. Estella worked at Fanny Farmer Candy Company, Norwalk, for six years.
She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Norwalk; VFW Women’s Auxiliary, Norwalk and Norwalk Eagles. She delivered Meals on Wheels for six years and volunteered for the Norwalk CAC, the VFW Concession Stand and the Red Cross Bloodmobile for 25 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Charla (Larry) Dent, of Willard; two sons, Art (Cindy) Noftz, of the Dominican Republic, and Charles Noftz, of Piqua, Ohio; two stepsons, Jack (Judy) Trushel, of Monroeville, and Dick (SuEllen) Trushel, of Columbus; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Noftz; second husband, John Trushel; her companion, Gilbert Ringlein; two sisters, and five brothers.
A Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 243 Benedict Ave., Norwalk. The Rev. Roger Harms will officiate.
