Gloria Nath, 90, residing in Sandusky, passed away peacefully at home Friday evening, Jan. 11, 2013, surrounded by her family following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 19, 1922, in Sandusky, daughter of the late Mauro and Josephine (Foschi) Dellasantina.
Gloria was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and dancing, but most of all, being and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Gloria worked at the Stadium Dairy Bar and Plum Nilly’s, but she most enjoyed taking care of her family.
Gloria is survived by her daughters, Roberta (Toby) Notestine and Lisa (Keith) Grohe, of Sandusky; three grandchildren, Erin (Seth) Warner, Derrick (Nicole) Grohe and Devin Grohe; one great-granddaughter, Ariyah Warner; her sister-in-law, Joyce Dellasantina; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nath; her parnets; two sisters, Virginia Luca and Annetta Poggiali; and three brothers, Anthony, Lawrence and Carl Dellasantina.
There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Joe Steinbauer will officiate. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Groff Funeral Home and Crematory, Sandusky, is assisting the family with arrangements.
