Grace A. (Keebler) McKinnon, 90, of Huron, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, surrounded by her family.
She was born Nov. 21, 1922, in Newark, N.J., and moved to the Huron area in the 1950’s.
She was the owner and operator of The Art Barn, Huron, and worked as a local artist for many years. She was the founder of the Huron Art League and a member of the Ohio Water Color Society. She loved her animals. She served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Donald) Drummond of Hastings, Mich., Bonnie (Keith) Cripe of Big Rapids, Mich., and Pamela (Richard) Kline of Blairsville, Pa.; three sons, Charles Ross of Huron, Michael (Karen) Ross of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Jim Felton of Mansfield, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and brother, Charles Keebler of Bartlesville, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Ross, Owen Felton, and Owen McKinnon; parents, Charles and Margaret (Gilbert) Keebler; step brother, Bill Jones; granddaughter, Valerie Felton; and great-granddaughter, McKensie Cripe.
Friends may call at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, Rev. Mike Ross will officiate.
