John David Weldon, 70, of Sandusky, and formerly of Bellevue, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at his home.
He was born May 19, 1942, in Bellevue to Perry and Martha (Burr) Weldon.
J.D. graduated from Bellevue High School in 1960 and drove truck for R & L Trucking until his retirement.
He was a member of the Coon Creek Hunt Club, Four County Conservation Club, and Ohio Gun Collectors. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
On May 18, 2001, he married Vickie (Smith) and she survives in Sandusky. Also surviving are his children, John P. Weldon (Kristen Siesel), of Attica, and Tricia L. (Kevin) Westof, Bellevue; his mother, Martha Weldon. of Bellevue; his grandchildren, Jared, Morgan and Emily; his stepchildren, Carolyn Sommers and Don Bishop; eight stepgrandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Dave was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy C. (Stout) Weldon; his wife, Nancy J. (Pacchini) Weldon; and his father, Perry Weldon.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, until funeral services at 11 a.m. at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. Burial will follow in Bellevue City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be given to Stein Hospice.
