Sean Robert “Saga” Solis, 29, residing in Sandusky, went home to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic.
Sean was born in Long Beach, Calif. Dec. 29, 1983, to Roberto and Carol (Robilotta) Solis. Sean attended Danbury and Huron High Schools, and attended college at Bowling Green State University, where he was majoring in Asian Studies and Film, until he became ill.
He was a member of Father’s Heart Family Church, and in his spare time he enjoyed spending time with family, especially his nieces and nephews, playing video games and listening to music.
Sean is survived by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Anthony and Marion Robilotta; his brothers, Eric (Samantha) Solis, and Ian Solis; his nieces and nephews, Destany, Blaze, and Noah; and other family members.
Sean was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Renulfo and Refugia Solis; and his uncle, Renulfo “Rudy” Solis.
Friends may call at noon Friday, Jan. 11, at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. at the funeral home, Rev. Tony Robinson will officiate. Burial will take place in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
