Timothy A. Brunner, age 54, of Sandusky, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 26, 1958, in Sandusky, and was a 1976 graduate of Sandusky High School. He was a materials handler at Ford Motor Co. for over 30 years, and retired in 2012 from Ventra, Sandusky. He enjoyed gardening, yard work, and took his time doing errands and handywork. He was a member of the Local UAW 1216 and a Son of AMVETS Post 17 in Sandusky.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou (Hand) Brunner; daughter, Caitlin Marie Brunner; son, Cody Alan Brunner; and grandson, Noah Lee Steiner; mother, Ruth E. (Butler) Brunner; brothers, Jeffrey (Karen) Brunner, Randy (Pat) Brunner; sister, Glenda (James) Petersen; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; in-laws, Kennth Hand, Robert and Donna Rutger, and Bruce and Jackie Sharp.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen J. Brunner.
Friends may call at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Pfeil Funeral Home, 617 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Mel Sayler officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date.
