Linda J. Salyers, 54, of Sandusky, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 2, 2013, in The Bellevue Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 16, 1958, in Sandusky, graduated from Margaretta High School in 1977, and graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in pharmacology. She worked for Kroger Grocery as a pharmacist in Port Clinton for many years.
She was a member of Wayside Temple, Castalia.
She is survived by two sisters, Debbie Salyers, of Sandusky, and Marie (Mark) White, of Sandusky; two brothers, Scott (Lori) Salyers, of Castalia, and Jonny Salyers, of Bay Bridge, Ohio; niece, Erin Salyers; and two nephews, Tanner Salyers and James White.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Betty (Payne) Salyers, and brother, David Salyers
Friends may call 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at Wayside Temple, 3809 Maple Ave., Castalia. The Rev. Rusty Yost will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
