Rev. Charles B. Dabney, 89, of Lake City, Tenn. went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012.
He was born June 20, 1923, in Coal Creek, Tenn., son of Otis and Marie Harris Dabney. His loves were God, family and country.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie of Lake City, Tenn.; son, David (June) Dabney; daughter, Connie (Dan) Howard; brothers, O.L. (Rema) Dabney, Elmer (Mary) Dabney, Paul (Rita) Dabney, Mickey Joe (Barbara) Dabney; sisters, Rainey Fay Boyles and Ann Gillam; one step son; and two step daughters.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Mildred Amos Dabney, to whom he was married 54 years; brothers, Junior, Jack, George Ed, Lowell; and sister, Ella Margaret.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 27, at Rest Lawn Cemetery, Sandusky. The reverend James Belcher will be officiating.
