Walter F. Dymond, 86, of Sandusky, died on Saturday evening, Dec. 15, 2012, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born in Bellevue on June 21, 1926.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Sandusky; NARFE; and was an original board member for Erie Residential Living.
Walter is survived by his wife, Audrey (Bahnsen) Dymond, whom he married Feb. 20, 1999; daughter, Jeannine (Jeff) Cline, Jacksonville, Fla; son, Timothy (Pam) Dymond, Bellevue; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Florine (Growel) Dymond, in 1995; parents, Melvin F. and May (Hackenburg) Dymond; and daughters, Kathleen Dymond and Laura Ann Dymond.
Friends may call at noon Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
