Barbara Ann (Stebelton) Unger, 62, of Huron, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, in Admiral’s Pointe Nursing & Rehab, Huron, after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis since she was 35 years old.
She was born April 25, 1950, in Toledo, and resided in Huron since 1965. She attended BGSU Firelands and was a teacher’s aide for a brief time.
She was a member of St. Peter Church, Huron. In her younger years she enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking and going to the beach.
She is survived by the love of her life, Wendell; two sons, Ryan P. Unger, of Columbus, and Barry C. (Leanne) Unger, of Nelsonville, Ohio; a grandchild, Autumn M. Unger; mother, Rosemary Arquett; a sister, Wendy M. Westhoven, of Wauseon, Ohio; and four brothers, William Stebelton, of Oregon, Ohio, Lynn Westhoven, of Martinez, Calif., and Tom and Larry Westhoven, of Wildwood, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Stebelton; step-father, Richard Westhoven; and a brother, Mike Stebelton.
A Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron. The Rev. Jeffery Sikorski will officiate. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Huron.
